The Parquet collection was selected to update the entrance and reception area of the prestigious Old Course Hotel in St Andrews.
Perfectly befitting of the stunning interior design of the statuesque golf resort and spa, Atkinson & Kirby’s Parquet collection in Harrow Oak was selected as the ideal flooring for both the entrance and reception areas.
Completed in March 2017, the Old Course is a AA five Red star-awarded hotel with 144 rooms and 35 suites. Situated in a unique location, it is recognised as one of Europe’s leading golf resorts. The majority of the suites have been designed by the French designer Jacques Garcia, reflecting the hotel’s essence of luxury through silk-lined walls and a rich red colour scheme, emphasised by Atkinson & Kirby’s Parquet flooring.
Josh Burbidge, Flooring Director for Atkinson & Kirby said: “The Parquet collection is the perfect fit for the Old Course Hotel, as the parquet flooring design chosen harmonises effortlessly with the traditional interior design. The shade selected has helped to add warmth and a sense of style to the entrance space, and the high-quality finish means the hotel can expect the flooring to last for years to come”.
