Situated in a once-overlooked corner of Glasgow’s city centre, Candleriggs Square is now a striking symbol of urban renewal, transforming a formerly derelict plot into a thriving new residential and commercial hub.

Led by Drum Property Group and backed by Legal & General’s UK Build to Rent Fund, this 346-apartment development marks a bold new chapter for Merchant City. Completed in May 2024, the 17-storey, 325,000 sq. ft. site is now a vibrant mixed-use community hub bringing together new residential spaces, office hubs and local amenities.

As part of the interior scheme, designers Lister and Lister turned to Atkinson & Kirby to specify a flooring solution that would bring timeless character and lasting durability to the building’s communal lounge areas and stairwells.
