Employees took part in a sponsored ’wear your spots’ day, as well as a series of fund-raising games, including a Children in Need duck race sweepstake and an ‘Interesting Facts Quiz’, where team members were tasked with guessing the interesting fact about their colleagues.
An impressive £187.17 was raised and all proceeds will go to Children in Need.
Children in Need is an organisation designed to bring communities together in support of disadvantaged children across the UK. Currently supporting 2,400 projects, the charity fund children confronting a range of difficulties such as poverty, deprivation, neglect, abuse and physical disabilities.
Tony Miles, CEO said: “The annual Children in Need autumn appeal show is an important date in Archwood Group’s fundraising calendar and is a chance for all our staff to get involved and have fun whilst raising money for a very important charity.
“As a family business we ensure giving back to the wider community is a priority. As such, contributing to Children in Need fund raising each year is incredibly important to us as a family and as a business.”
